Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Proficiency in Linux operating systems

Experience with and tuning of virtualization tools in operational environments like ESXi and KVM

Proficiency in basic networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, WAF, and firewalls

Familiarity with implementing multi-tenant networks (e.g., OVN, OpenvSwitch, NSXt)

Proficiency in Configuration Management concepts and Ansible

Familiarity and experience with distributed storage systems (Ceph)

Experience with logging and monitoring systems like Prometheus, ELK Stack, Sentry, Zabbix

Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)

System tuning for virtualization environments (reducing latency and overhead)

Familiarity or relevant experience with Kubernetes

Familiarity or experience with changing and setting up different CNIs and CSIs in Kubernetes

Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Service Discovery concepts

Experience with Object Storage systems like Amazon S3 and Ceph RGW

Implementing and configuring security measures in cloud and non-cloud environments

Designing and implementing complete public/private cloud infrastructures using Kubernetes, OpenStack, and other open-source tools

Managing, tuning, and maintaining virtualization infrastructures like ESXi and KVM

Configuring and managing complex multi-tenant networks with tools like OVN and OpenvSwitch

Managing and implementing Configuration Management with Ansible

Designing and configuring Software-Defined Storage (e.g., Ceph and Ceph RGW)

Setting up and managing monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Zabbix, etc.)

System tuning and optimization to reduce latency in virtualized environments

Managing and setting up Kubernetes clusters and their associated CNIs/CSIs

Automation: Using automation tools for managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure

Troubleshooting and problem resolution: Identifying and resolving technical (software and hardware) issues in cloud infrastructure

Collaboration with development teams: Working with development teams to ensure proper integration of user interfaces with the cloud platform

On-call availability for emergencies and weekly shifts

Documentation: Preparing technical documentation for systems and processes
