Kubit account

Your Kubit account is your primary identity across Kubit. You use it to sign in, manage your security settings, and belong to multiple organizations.

Each organization has its own members, projects, resources, and access rules. Organization membership is separate from your Kubit account, so one account can hold several memberships.

Where should I start?

If you do not have an account, read Before registration. You need identity details and a valid invitation code.

If you already have an account, follow Sign in with a Kubit account. Company-specific sign-in is covered separately under Organization sign-in.

If you forgot your password, see Recover a Kubit account password. The same guide explains recovery for LDAP accounts and SAML sign-in.

To change your name, avatar, email, or phone number, see Kubit account profile. Advanced profile differences explains how it differs from your organization-member profile.

For account protection, see Change your password, Two-factor authentication, and Active sessions.

How do accounts and organizations differ?

A Kubit account is not limited to one organization. Its email, phone number, password, and security settings belong to you globally.

An organization is a workspace for shared resources. Roles, groups, permissions, and project access are configured independently in each organization.

After registration, you can create your first organization or skip that step. See Create your first organization after registration.

Organization sign-in and Kubit accounts

An organization membership may originate from a Kubit invitation, LDAP, or SAML. The source determines how the membership is created and how the member signs in.

In some cases, a person's Kubit account and company identity are linked to the same membership. The person can then use either sign-in method and still reach the same organization member.

Account panel

After sign-in, the account page lists the organizations available to you. Selecting one opens that organization's panel, with features shown according to your roles and permissions.

See Switch organizations and Profile and account page for the main account-panel actions.
